This is absolutely, painfully hilarious! Sad, and painfully hilarious! I guess it all makes sense now; the movie stunk, which I think most of us can agree on. In reading co-star Patton Oswalt's recent interview with AV Club about the film (posted on their website just yesterday), it's clear that, during shooting, Wesley Snipes wasn't at all happy with the project. The fact that he would later sue New Line Cinema, writer/director David Goyer and Toby Emmerich, executive producer of Blade: Trinity, in a wide-ranging lawsuit seeking more than $5 million in damages, was certainly a nod to his disgust with the film and his involvement in it.
