2012 Sundance festival drama LUV follows 11-year-old Woody (Michael Rainey Jr.) as he spends a day with his troubled ex-convict Uncle Vincent (Common). As the film nears its January theatrical opening, director Sheldon Candis spoke with S&A about the process behind the film.
