As we here in the USA debate this year's Academy Award nominess, ahead of the February 24th celebration, South Africa's annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) - the premier film and television industry awards in the country, under the custodianship of the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) - announced its 2013 nominees, in celebration of the excellence in the local film and television industry.
