From the city to the countryside (village) in Nigerian pop music videos

Things can get repetitive in the world of Nigerian music videos. There isn't much variety to be found outside the same old: people dancing in dark rooms, stunning views that capture the flashing lights of the city, muscular hunky young men with tattoos and curvaceous young women with long silky weaves. Sunglasses are compulsory, whether it is day or night, as even at night there are always glaring lights. These images of expensive cars and life in the fast lane always take place in the city. The ubiquitous city could be Lagos or any other city in South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States.
