Africa's Entrepreneurial Challenge: If I Can't Fire You, I Can't Hire You

In order to create a business in Senegal, it takes several days and hundreds of dollars - without bribes. Very few people in Senegal can afford to do that. Worse yet, once my business is open, I don't dare hire an employee - because it is almost impossible to fire an employee in Senegal.
