A Kenyan company, Eco Fuels:

...uses the oil from the seed of the croton nut we produce a liquid fuel which can replace diesel in large stationary engines such as gensets.

The excess husks and seedcake produce an organic fertiliser and plant health products as well as solid fuel which is a charcoal replacement fuel. This reduces demand for wood charcoal and can be sold at prices lower than charcoal. A Village Capital enterprise they are:
