Growing the User Experience Community in Sub Saharan Africa

Are you intrigued by the rapidly-growing world of user experience design? Do you wonder how good design can gain users for your technology/software products? Are you passionate about giving your users the experience they deserve? Are you looking to meet and connect with other design enthusiasts? Yes? Then please read on.

At Google, user experience is central to everything we do. Indeed the top thing on our list of ten things we know to be true is: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." This is a principle we embrace in product design as we look to build products and services that appeal to users all over the world.

We believe that an Internet made up of websites and applications designed with the user in mind will lead to a better experience overall for users, regardless culture, language, location, or how they access the internet, thus resulting in a thriving technology community. This is why we recently made available a number of resources dedicated to enabling designers and software developers learn and explore with Google on our journey to a more user-friendly web.
