Airtel launches 4G service in Africa

Airtel has launched, according to the company, Africa's first 4G service in the Seychelles. According to the mobile operator, it has launched the service on a network based on FD-LTE, making the Seychelles amongst the first countries in sub Saharan Africa to commercially deploy the technology. This is Airtel's first commercial LTE network in Africa.
